Berkshire Mountain Distillers

This week we are proud to welcome a new line of locally-distilled artisan spirits to our portfolio. Berkshire Mountain Distillers was founded in 2007 in the western region of Massachusetts and is the area’s first legal distillery since prohibition. All of the products are hand-crafted in small batches using local ingredients whenever possible and historic spring water for which the area is known. The farm, once a 19th century luxury inn and spa, sources water rich in granite from the Adirondack mountains which imparts a natural sweetness and viscosity to the spirits.

Founder Chris Weld produces a triple-distilled bourbon whiskey, a corn whiskey aged in oak and cherrywood, a triple-distilled molasses-based rum, an exceptional sipping vodka and two styles of gin: one London-dry version and one limited release featuring different botanicals in each batch. His products have won several gold medals at spirits competitions across the country and have been featured in Saveur, Wine Enthusiast, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal to name a few. And most recently, his flagship product Greylock Gin, was just voted the #1 TOP PICK by The New York Times! Whether you’re a spirits aficionado or just appreciate a quality, hand-crafted product, we invite you to give these unique spirits a try!
