STEVE GATES Restaurant Sales South NJ 908-454-7445 X 260
Start Date:
November 2006
Experience:
10+ years in the restaurant business. I did it all; busboy, waiter, bartender (I like to call it intoxication delivery systems engineering), even a stint as a manager. Along the way I had the good fortune of tending bar at a few restaurants that served some of the best beers in the world, and a brave new world opened up for me.
Interests:
I love music; I play guitar in a band with 2 of my best friends. I learned how to blow glass years ago from a friend, worked in his studio for a few years, and eventually operated my own studio. The life of a starving artist wasn’t for me, but I still manage to play with melted glass every once in a while. I love to cook and eat good food (as long as there is good beer to wash it down!)
Previous Life:
bartending glassblower
Education:
Miscellaneous Data:
I speak and read Spanish fluently. My Spanish speaking voice sounds just like the guy from the news broadcast on Univision 41. Now if someone from South America would just brew some really good beer…

OFFICE AND WAREHOUSE

MICHAEL SALES Office Manager 908-454-7445 X 205
Start Date:
Experience:
Few years retail, where I developed a knack for turning bad beer drinkers into craft beer drinkers. Also, I once sat next to a gentleman at a bar who claimed to have consumed an entire case of a Wee Heavy-style beer in a single sitting. (That should count for something.)
Interests:
Great food in general, cooking, wine, of course beer, antique maps, travel, hiking and NY Mets & Jets supporter.
Previous Life:
Education:
Rutgers College of Engineering; BS Ceramic & Materials Engineering, focus in Fiber Optics
Miscellaneous Data:
First great beer was a bottle a friend brought back from Belgium during college. It opened my eyes to a world beyond the tasteless, fizzy garbage I had previously only known.
