Old Dominion Brews Now Available in the Garden State

Phillipsburg, NJ – Hunterdon Distributors would like to welcome Old Dominion Brewing Company to the state of New Jersey. The brand officially hit the New Jersey market on Monday, March 19, 2012 with the release of their flagship Hop Mountain Pale Ale and Oak Barrel Stout. Consumers can now find these tasty brews throughout the state in 6-packs and on draft.

Old Dominion Brewing Company was founded in Loudoun County, Virginia in 1989. After two decades of serving delicious craft beer to patrons in the DC metro area, the brewery moved to a larger facility in Dover, Delaware. A veteran in the craft beer industry, Old Dominion remains a small company with only twenty-eight employees and a laid-back mentality. They are “Livin’ the Dream”; as they like to say around the brewery. Old Dominion has never sought national distribution rather they pride themselves on serving fresh beer to restaurants and retail establishments within two hundred miles of the brewery. New Jersey is the fifth market for Old Dominion after Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia.

Hunterdon is pleased Old Dominion has decided to cruise up I–95 and provide New Jersey beer fans with another great craft beer choice. The release comes just in time for this year’s Atlantic City Beer Festival; the annual two-day event celebrating all things beer. Representatives from Old Dominion will be on the scene pouring samples of Hop Mountain Pale Ale, Oak Barrel Stout and their brand new Root Beer. So if you are in Atlantic City for the festivities, be sure to stop by the Old Dominion booth and welcome them to New Jersey!
