2010 Mendocino County Chardonnay “Francine’s Selection”

Lovers of crisp, unoaked Chardonnays, rejoice! Toad Hollow’s Chardonnay is rich and full-bodied yet sparkling with acidity with notes of mango, citrus, melon and green apple. This perfect everyday sipper is fermented in stainless steel tanks for nine months allowing for the real essence of the fruit to shine through. The creamy characteristic in this chardonnay is a result of it resting on its “lees” for eight months and undergoing 100% maloactic fermentation.

Risque French Sparkling Wine

Made in the Méthode Ancestrale tradition which involves bottling the wine before all the residual sugar has been fermented into alcohol. This style is sweeter and less fizzy than traditional champagne -method sparkling wine and has vibrant notes of apple, pear and honey.
