There's no question as to why alcoholic beverages have been deemed essential during a stay-at-home order, so we came up with a few tips and ways to stay busy while you're stuck inside. Here are 9 things that beer and cocktail enthusiasts can do to get through the quarantine.

1. Curbside Pickup, Takeout, Delivery, Oh My!

Never run out of your favorite adult beverages while social distancing. Many bars and restaurants are offering curbside pickup, takeout, and delivery of not just food, but craft beer, wine, and cocktails as well. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for updates from places near you, and tag us so we can help spread the word.

2. Cook with Beer

Now is a good time to get creative in the kitchen! Put your chef caps on and experiment with some new recipes using beer as a key ingredient. You can also create new food/beer pairings to enjoy with your family, roommates, or significant other. You can find lots of great ideas on, or shoot us a message for recommendations!

3. In-Home Tastings

Just because there are no In-STORE Tastings allowed, doesn’t mean you can’t have your own at home. Check out our new releases for a list of seasonal and limited options hitting shelves this week. On your next trip to the beer store, grab a few you’ve never tried and make your own flight. You may discover a new favorite!

4. Virtual Happy Hour

It’s a thing! Family, friends, and co-workers everywhere are cheers-ing from afar via online video chat apps. Get the gang together and pour yourself a cold one!

5. Live-Stream Cocktail Classes

Brush up on your bar-tending skills by joining a live-stream of a cocktail class, such as this one recommended by Jersey Bites.

6. Cocktails in a Can

No expert in the bar-tending department? Leave it to the pros and give Ready-to-Drink (RTD) Canned Cocktails a try!

7. 19.2’s to the Rescue

Complete your next Netflix binge with a few of your favorite craft beers in 19.2oz cans. Less trips to the fridge = less interruptions!

8. Keep Health Goals High

Maintaining your health goals is important, especially right now. Hard seltzers and low-cal IPA’s are a good option to help you stay on track without sacrificing the boozy flavors you love. If you decide to take a break from drinking during the lock-down, there are lot's of tasty non-alcoholic options that taste just as good, if not better, than the boozy stuff!

9. Give Back

Our suppliers and local business have always been there for us…this is our time to be there for them. Consider supporting a fundraiser for the people or places you love, whatever that may be. Thank the people on the front lines and do your part by staying home.

Hang in there, New Jersey! We will get through this together.
