They’re here! Stone Brewing Co has released their IPA and Arrogant Bastard in cans to the NJ market. We’re thrilled to have them just in time for the warmer weather and all of the fun times it brings!

Stone IPA has been in our portfolio for years, and has been a Team Stone favorite since it’s original release in 1997. IPA is Stone’s number 1 selling beer, and if you’ve tried it, you can understand why! It’s chock- full of citrusy, piney, hoppy aromas & flavors, and perfectly balanced with it’s malty counterpart. It was originally released in 1997 and now takes on a new look in cans! We’re excited to pack these delicious cans into our camping, hiking, festival-ing and everyday fun-having bags all Summer long! This West Coast style IPA comes in a pack of 12 and rings in at 6.9%ABV and 77IBUs.

Also available in cans is the old favorite Arrogant Bastard Ale. This 7.2% ABV American Strong Ale has been a crowd favorite for a long time in New Jersey. This liquid arrogance is a wave of caramel and roasted malts that balances out with a hop bomb of flavor at the end. It’s in your face, and unapologetic, like the Gargoyle on the front of the can. Here’s what he has to say: ”At Arrogant Bastard Brewing, we believe that pandering to the lowest common denominator represents the height of tyranny—a virtual form of keeping the consumer barefoot and stupid. Brought forth upon an unsuspecting public in 1997, Arrogant Bastard Ale openly challenged the tyrannical overlords who were brazenly attempting to keep Americans chained in the shackles of poor taste. Since the very beginning, Arrogant Bastard Ale has reveled in its unprecedented and uncompromising celebration of intensity. There have been many nods to Arrogant Bastard Ale…even outright attempts to copy it…but only one can ever embody the true nature of Liquid Arrogance!”

Here’s what Stone has to say about the limited 12.7%ABV BASTARD’S MIDNIGHT BRUNCH:

Evenings trying to forget the crushing mediocrity of one’s life are typically the main driver to late-night breakfast plates at unforgivingly overlit diners stacked with industrialized, frozen-dumped-in-a-fryer “food.” An interlude between sophomoric late-night antics, questionable decisions and inevitable morning regret. That’s not how I play it. For those who know how to grab life by the horns*, however, this bottle pairs even better with accomplishment, life lived out loud, and well-timed moves that often appear as luck to those not paying attention. A specifically designed midnight brunch feast with like-minded folks who not only have their wits about them but actually have wits, and an artfully prepared feast sets the more appropriate stage for this beer. The bottle is worth a special occasion. Create yours to accompany it.

*Touch mine, though, and I’ll provide you with the deepest possible understanding of the word “regret.” ”

Coming Soon from Stone Brewing…

Stone Citrusy Wit-
When it comes to our beers and the ingredients we use, we give a wit. So rather than spinning just the same fruit wheel of the classic orange peel, we punched up our wit with the dynamic duo of tangerine and kaffir lime leaf. The fruit-forward aromatics and flavors are perfectly balanced,so you don’t have to bother adding a slice (or leaf) to the rim of your glass. Even with this lack of unnecessary garnish, you won’t find an absence of intense fruit. In fact, each dryly refreshing, citrusy sip of this coriander-spiced,tangerine-infused, Mandarina Bavaria-hopped creation will satisfy even the most hardcore fan.

Stone Mocha IPA-
Stone Mocha IPA was first brewed at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station in celebration of its second anniversary. This quick fan favorite was inspired by two of our style-bending beers: Aleman/Two Brothers/Stone DayMan Coffee IPA (one of our most popular collaborations) and Stochasticity Project Master of Disguise (our golden-hued imperial stout brewed with cocoa and coffee beans). This style-pushing IPA combines the semisweet chocolate and roasty coffee flavors of a classic mocha latte with powerful tropical fruit and citrus hoppiness from Cascade, Citra and Amarillo hops.

Stone Go To IPA
This beer employed the “hop bursting” technique. The result is a beautifully aromatic beer with substantial, but somewhat mellow, bitterness. The hop bursting also enhances the flavor retention of the hops, and combined with the dry hop, creates a very intense and complex hop flavor. 4.5% abv
Available in 1/2, 1/6 kegs and 6 packs

Stone Cali-Belgique
The addition of a carefully selected strain of Belgian yeast adds unexpected layers of flavors and aroma, providing a deliciously funky overtone to the hoppy brightness you already know and love as Stone IPA. 6.9% abv
Available in 22oz

Stone Ruination IPA
So called because of its truly “ruinous” effect on your palate, this massive hop monster will change forever your preconceptions of what defines good beer. This is Stone IPA’s big brother, and we mean BIG. 8.2% abv
Available in 4 packs
