Founded by brewing buddies John Cochran and Brian “Spike” Buckowski, Terrapin Brewery is celebrating their 11th year as one of the hottest craft breweries of the Southeast. While very well-known for their wacky-named brews, it’s the incredible level of quality, creativity and innovation at the brewery that has kept beer fans clamoring over the last decade. All of their products have received excellent scores on Ratebeer.com and Beer Advocate and have won several awards at the local, national and international levels. Rye Pale Ale, their very first release in April of 2002, won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival that same year and remains to be a best-seller to this day. If it’s been awhile since you had their stellar Southern brews, be sure to give ‘em a whirl. And stay tuned for information on other upcoming Terrapin releases including Hopzilla, Mosaic, Maggie and many other wonderful surprises!
