October 2012

The Hunterdon crew took a trip down to Hershey, PA to check out the brand new Troegs brewery….but first we had to play some paintball! After a viscious game in the pouring rain (team bonding at its finest), we took a tour of their expansive new digs. All 96,000 square feet of it! These guys definitely didn’t hold back when building this bad ass brewery. State-of-the-art equipment including five 100 barrel German BrauKon kettles, new bottling and kegging lines and one massive tasting room where you watch the brewing process take place while you sip on some tasty brews. Impressive to say the least. We drank some Perpetual IPA fresh off the bottling line, watched the brewers busy at work making some Mad Elf and then enjoyed some delicious grub from their new snack bar. A big THANKS to Nick, Matt, Ed, John, Chris and the entire Troegs crew for being such awesome hosts! We’ll definitely be back real soon!
