San Diego .394 Pale Ale, 6 packs & 1/6 kegs

In early 2014, Tony Gwynn’s team approached AleSmith to create a distinctive beer for the baseball legend. A meeting was called at the Gwynn household, which included a sampling of AleSmith beers to identify Tony’s preferences. He wanted the beer to be “light with a kick” which he elaborated further to mean full of hop character and light in body and color. The result of the Gwynn family’s feedback on test batches rendered a golden pale ale full of American hop flavor and aroma, with a subdued bitterness and a malty sweet finish. AleSmith San Diego Pale Ale .394 pays tribute to the city that Tony loved and the career high batting average that he achieved in ‘94. Discover what happens when a Hall of Fame perfectionist crafts a beer with a world-class brewery. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation (TAG). ABV: 6.0%

Orange X, 6 pack cans

Orange X is a fresh new take on our classic Extra Pale Ale. We combined the crisp, light balance and generous hop profile of X – Extra Pale Ale with the bright juicy citrus character of oranges as a tasting room exclusive here in San Diego. The positive response was so overwhelming that we decided to trust in our fans by putting it into cans. Orange X is for the people! ABV: 5.25%

Thai Speedway Stout, 1/6 kegs

Inspired by our brewers’ love of the assertive, bright flavors of Thai ingredients, this intensely flavored brew incorporates the vibrant quality of several Thai-inspired ingredients into our classic imperial stout. Powerful notes of citrus, botanicals, and tropical fruit balance the stout’s rich chocolate, caramel, and coffee character. The result is an amazingly flavorful and complex beer that pays tribute to the flavors of Thailand. ABV: 12.0%

Hall of Fame, 22 oz.

An imperial version of AleSmith .394 San Diego Pale Ale. All proceeds from this beer will go towards raising funds for the Tony Gwynn Museum which will honor this hall of famer and raise money for TAG (Tony & Alicia Gwynn Foundation) at AleSmith’s new facility. ABV: 9.0%

Logical Choice, 6 pack cans & 1/6 kegs

We’ve finally teamed up with our friends at Pizza Port Brewing Co., one of our favorite breweries in San Diego. When deciding what to make, we figured something excessively hoppy was the logical choice, and so this collaboration brew was born. This triple IPA is an intensely hoppy and bitter San Diego-style India Pale Ale. The light malt character and light body allow aggressive notes of pine, mango and citrus fruits to overtake the palate, while a dry finish allows it to remain crisp and refreshing. Make the Logical Choice and enjoy this beer immediately, much like the brewers did leaving work to enjoy it in sunny San Diego. Cheers! ABV: 10.0%

Avance, 12 packs

Avancé is a strong, sour ale with aromas of strawberry preserves and toasted oak. Berries and more oak continue in the flavor, which concludes with a warm, sweet finish. The beer is brewed with multiple sugars including molasses, date sugar, white cane sugar, and dark rock candi. It’s then fermented with three different yeast strains and aged in oak bourbon barrels for a year with Lactobacillus and Pediococcus. After transferring the beer to stainless we add one pound per gallon of fresh, locally picked strawberries and age it for another six months. ABV: 9.7%

Golden Brett, 12.7 oz.

Notes of citrus, apricot, and bread crust all make an appearance in this mildly tart, golden-colored beer. We brew Golden Brett with Victory, 2-row, oats, and red wheat malt before fermenting it with our house strain of Brettanomyces yeast—first in stainless, then in an 800-gallon oak foudre. After hopping lightly with Northern Brewer and Simcoe, we dry hop it with Simcoe again prior to bottling. This beer is a golden example of what our local strain of Brettanomyces can do. ABV: 7.7%

Emile, 12.7 oz.

Émile is aged in foudres that once held Pineau des Charentes, a French aperitif made famous by the man whose name graces this beer’s label. We brew Émile with a blend of 2-row malt, local oats, local raw red wheat, Special B, and Midnight Wheat, then hop with Northern Brewer hops. Émile’s roasty, vinous flavor comes together after it’s been fermented with our house yeast, and then aged in the foudre with Lactobacillus and Pediococcus.

The color of mature rosewood with ruby highlights, Émile carries the aroma of black currants and elderberries with hearty, earthy undertones. Notes of both dark chocolate and dates infuse the taste, making for a beer that’s part France, part Belgium, and all Maine. ABV: 7.2%

Ginger Sour, 22 oz. bottles

Verdant fresh ginger is artfully rooted in radiant tartness, peaking in the unmistakable burst and bite of this bright barrel-aged sour ale. ABV: 6.0%

Dupont Cidre Bouche Brut, 12.7 oz. & 25.4 oz. bottles

Etienne Dupont believes that only one great cider can be made, given any set of apples, because the balance has to be perfect. There are three maturities for each general category of apples [bitter, sweet, acidic], giving nine types in all. Each type is collected at three different times between October and December subject to maturity. Soil is, calcareous, and marly. This soil produces small fruit with highly concentrated flavors perfect for the production of cider. No nitrates are used, allowing for a slow, complete fermentation. Nitrates act like steroids in apples, bulking the fruit up with water and lessening concentration of flavor. They are thus, undesirable. More importantly, apples are picked manually, making the quality of fruit consistantly high. ABV: 5.5%

Racer 5 IPA, 1/2 kegs

This hoppy IPA is a full bodied beer brewed with malted barley, wheat, and crystal malts. The malt base is designed to highlight the unique floral qualities Columbus and Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest. Racer 5 is one of America’s most medal winning IPAs. There’s a trophy in every glass. ABV: 7.5%

Manhattan NW, 25 packs & 1/6 kegs

Manhattan NW is a blend of sour quad and blond ales aged in bourbon and wine barrels with sour pie cherries and apricot noyaux. A tribute to the classic Manhattan cocktail, this unique sour beer interpretation features flavors of bourbon, maraschino cherry and bitter almond with a rich malt backbone. ABV: 10.3%

C-4 IPA, 1/6 kegs

Our summer IPA packs a huge blast of flavor, and just like the infamous explosive it’s named after this beer is the weapon of choice for anyone looking for a very big bang. Lightly kilned American malts provide a fiery orange color and subtle sweetness… When combined with a blend of four distinctly different “C” hops the result is a detonation of the senses! Waves of citrus, floral and spice notes combine perfectly in an explosion of flavors and aromas. ABV: 7.0%

Sol Reaper, 1/6 kegs

A scythe, or reaper, is a tool for harvesting. Whether it be grains or souls you’re collecting, we’re pretty sure all that work will make you thirsty… So no matter the season we will always be brewing a batch of Reaper, made in a style that suits the clime. Sol Reaper is a beer that’s inspired by the golden rays of the summer sun. Matching their color this beer is light and bright, with a burst of juicy hop flavor at the finish. The perfect pairing for a hot day in the fields, on the beach, or just about anywhere there’s a thirst waiting to be quenched. ABV: 6.0%

Los Locos, 6 pack cans

Troy Guard is a Denver chef with a Mexican restaurant so badass we can’t even put the name on this can. While enjoying his food we had a crazy idea: brew a Mexican-Style Lager with corn, natural lime juice and just a hint of salt. We recommend it with rattlesnake chorizo Guac- yep, that’s real. Salud amigos! ABV: 4.8%

Son of a Baptist, 6 pack cans

Son of a Baptist is an imperial stout. It is not barrel aged like its father, Big Bad Baptist; instead its flavor profile was designed to highlight the complex and often unique flavors of small batch coffees. Instead of sourcing a coffee that would play well in a beer we sought out creative and innovative roasters, then asked them which beans they’re passionate about. Each resulting release of Son of a Baptist is widely different depending on the coffee selected. Some are fruity and sweet with notes of jam and chocolate, others are rich and earthy with a big roasted finish. Each limited release will return to the Roaster’s home market where the beer and the coffee can be sampled side by side. ABV: 8.0%

Hop Syndrome, 6 pack cans

A deliciously hoppy lager, this clean, spicy, yet fruity addition is sure to quench your summer palate just right! ABV: 5.0%

Tart & Juicy, 6 pack cans

We’ve combined the clean, puckering tartness of kettle souring with an abundance of juicy, citrus-driven hops to create a beer that’s the best of both worlds – Tart n’ Juicy Sour IPA. ABV: 4.5%

Our most casual cider, pale gold, bubbly, with a hint of sweetness amid tart, bitter, and fruity elements: citrus, pineapple, bittersweet apple, and a whiff of good barnyard funk. Farmhouse isn’t madly astringent but shows a certain tannic bite. A clean, appetizing finish makes it congenial with food, from the snackiest to meatiest and whole-grainiest. ABV: 6.5%

Kingston Black

Kingston Black technically is a “bittersharp” apple variety, which in the English-speaking cider world means that its high tannin and acid levels make it a suitable cider apple: however, its sugar level, at least growing here, regularly yields 8.5% alcohol. Its aromatic flavor hooks range from floral through fruity. ABV: 8.5%

Farm to Pint, 1/6 kegs

This stuff is like straight candied oranges, with a sweet perfume that’s dank at the same time. The El Dos we got from Graham are just insane, and the Centennials provide resinous backnotes. Light haze, smooth feel, barely a sting of bitterness. ABV: 7.0%

Tangerine Express IPA, 1/6 kegs

This ain’t no just-add-juice approach. This one is for adults. We use bountiful whole tangerine purée, which brings pithy, crisp bitterness to the citrus flavor. In addition to the complexities of the tangerine — the likes of which you can only get by using the whole fruit — we judiciously employ just a hint of whole pineapple for a backnote (you’d likely not even pick it out of the mix if we didn’t tell you it was there). We’re not looking for a sweet concoction to appease the “I want my beer to taste like fruit juice” crowd. This is Stone. We like our IPAs to taste like IPAs. Big, bold and not for kids. ABV: 6.7%

Sans Pagaie, 25 packs & 1/6 kegs

Sans Pagaie is our take on the Belgian-style kriek, which is a sour blonde ale aged in barrels with cherries. Sans Pagaie translates from French to “without a paddle” (see what we did there? Kriek/”without a bottle”….. hello, anyone out there?). The base beer has a subtle funk, which melds gently with the fruit giving this beer flavors reminiscent of coconut, vanilla yogurt and of, course, fresh cherries. A complex beer, perfect for a warm California day in the park with a slice of homemade cheesecake. ABV: 6.6%

Share This: OC, 25 packs & 1/6 kegs

Share This: OC is a rich, imperial stout infused with orange-chocolate flavors. It’s a profile we’re quite fond of, given the abundance of orange trees in our own backyard. Food Forward takes it one step further – reaching over 100,000 people a month throughout eight counties in Southern California (including Orange County) with recovered fresh fruits and vegetables that would normally go to waste from backyard fruit trees, public orchards, farmers markets and the downtown Los Angeles Wholesale Produce Market. To achieve the orange-chocolate flavor profile in this beer, we use orange zest, vanilla and TCHO cacao nibs. For every bottle we produce, Food Forward receives one dollar. ABV: 11.0%

Frederick H, 25 packs & 1/6 kegs

We’re on a first-name basis with our new German-style tart wheat beer. Meet Frederick H. (The “H” stands for “Hottenroth”.) But this isn’t Fred as you knew him with Sarah. This is a Berliner Weisse with an entirely different personality. At his core, Frederick H. embodies some of the elements you’d expect in a Berliner Weisse-style beer, such as a tart flavor profile from lactobacillus, a hint of brettanomyces and traditionally low ABV. He gets a little racy though, and gains even more funky and earthy notes from house cultures and fermentation in our oak foeders at Bruery Terreux. After nature takes its course, Frederick H. emerges with a bright, refreshing body, palate-cleansing tartness and au naturel rawness. ABV: 4.4%

Saule, 25 packs & 1/6 kegs

Saule is French for “willow”, a traditional nine-year anniversary gift. Our ninth anniversary ale, Saule, follows in the footsteps of our anniversary releases before it, which are loosely based on an English-style old ale, fermented with our house yeast strain, aged in bourbon barrels and blended using the solera method. This means that a portion of each anniversary ale is saved in oak barrels and blended in with the next year’s production, providing more complexity and depth of character as the years go by. The result is layered in robust and complex flavors of toffee, caramel, dark fruit, vanilla and oak. ABV: 16.1%

Guava Libre, 25 packs & 1/6 kegs

This sensory getaway transports you to a corner bodega with our friends at Funky Buddha in South Florida to recreate the flavors you’d find in a Cuban guava pastry. Championing the big, bold flavors that both of our breweries are known for, we brewed an imperial cream ale, adding lactose and vanilla to impart sweet, custard-like ribbons, and guava for filling its conceptual authenticity. It’s a collaboration that’s equal parts inspiration and admiration. ABV: 7.5%

Nimble Giant, 4 pack cans, 1/6 kegs & 1/2 kegs

“Without sway, there can be no balance.” Our Double IPA gracefully boasts grapefruit rind, pineapple and honeysuckle notes with a hint of earthy forest floor. Behold the wonder! ABV: 9.0%

Rye 95, 6 packs

Two Roads Brewmaster Phil Markowski has taken a road less traveled with this rye-based version of a classic Belgian Tripel. There are unique twists and turns at every corner that give our spring seasonal its unique, fruity complexity. The beer is characteristically spicy with a dry flavor and aroma thanks to the rye. The addition of American-grown Mosaic and Amarillo hops add notes of white wine, blueberries and fruit punch. We also used a noticeably fruity/spicy yeast strain that adds characteristics of pear and clove. So take the next exit for a fruity, spicy flavor and intense hop character. ABV: 9.5%

Crafty Cider, 6 packs

Crafty Cider is first cider made here at Wyndridge Farm. Crafty Cider a more sophisticated beverage – crafted in the spirit of a traditional Champagne-style hard cider. Crafty Cider leaves out excessive amounts of candy-like sweeteners that some other ciders add. We believe in keeping it symple, by using locally pressed apples and yeast. The result is a fresh, clean tasting hard cider. ABV: 5.5%

Mojito, 6 packs

Cider fermented on lime wedges and rinds, tons of mint and cane sugar. Post fermentation its aged on more fresh mint and oak chips soaked in white rum. ABV: 5.5%
