STOWE,V.T. – VON TRAPP BREWING announces its donation to Sierra Nevada’s Resilience Butte County Proud IPA totaling $12,534.00 in support of all affected by the Butte County, California forest fires.

“It was a no-brainer when we learned that Sierra Nevada was making a beer to support the fire recovery efforts,” said Sam von Trapp, executive vice president of von Trapp Brewing. “Sierra Nevada is one of the best breweries in the country and has the highest commitment to integrity and community.”

Sierra Nevada teamed up with more than 1,400 breweries all over the world donating their time, ingredients, and labor costs, all in contribution to the brewing of the Resilience Butte County Proud IPA. The Resilience IPA commits to donating 100% profits in response to relief efforts to the Northern California forest fires last November.

“We’re a family company in an amazing community and we love to support our community,” said Mike Whitty, Director of Sales and Marketing at von Trapp brewing. “We’re proud to support another community that has been through so much.”

The von Trapp® Brewery jumped to the occasion to help bring awareness to the charitable IPA, raising $12,534.00 to those affected by California’s wildfire. Resilience Butte County Proud IPA was sold within the von Trapp Bierhall Restaurant and the Trapp Family Lodge Lounge on the 2,500-acre property.
